Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information yizhiweb.top (“we”, “us”) receives when you use this site, and what happens to it. The short version: the text, numbers, files and images you put into a tool are processed in your browser and are never sent to us. The rest of this page is about the small amount of data that third parties do receive.

What we never receive

Every tool on this site is a static page. There is no application server behind it, no database, and no API endpoint that accepts tool input. When you type into a text field, drop a file onto a page, or move a slider, the transformation happens in JavaScript running on your own device.

Practically, that means the following never reaches us, because there is nowhere for it to go:

You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use any tool. No request carries your input. The only requests are for the page, its stylesheet, its script, and third-party advertising.

What the hosting provider sees

The site is served by a web server, and any web server necessarily sees the technical data required to answer a request: your IP address, the requested URL, the browser's User-Agent string, a referring URL if one was sent, and a timestamp. This is standard server logging, used for security and abuse prevention and for diagnosing an outage. It is not combined with anything you typed into a tool, because that data never leaves your browser.

Cookies

We do not set our own tracking or analytics cookies. The site works without cookies: block or delete them in your browser settings and every tool continues to function.

Two exceptions are worth naming. Your theme preference (light or dark) may be stored locally in your browser so the page does not flash the wrong colours on the next visit — this is local storage, not a cookie, and it is never transmitted. And the advertising network described below may set its own cookies, subject to the consent rules on this page.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. Readers in the EEA and UK can also use youronlinechoices.eu.

Whichever choice you make, it does not affect the tools: the advertising is a separate part of the page and no tool depends on it.

Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

Where required, we ask for consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before any advertising cookies are set, and we honour Google Consent Mode signals. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the consent prompt on the site.

Withdrawing consent stops personalised advertising; it does not remove advertising, which may continue in a non-personalised form. Non-personalised ads are selected from contextual signals — the page you are on — rather than from a profile of your browsing.

Analytics

We do not run our own visitor-tracking analytics. Any aggregate measurement reviewed for the site comes from the hosting provider's logs or from the advertising network's reports, and is statistical rather than personal: page views, error rates, and whether a deployment broke something.

Feedback you send us

The feedback form is the one place where you can deliberately send us something. It stores the message you write, the page path attached to the report (pre-filled with the page you were on, and editable), the category you choose and — only if you fill it in — an email address. We do not store your IP address, your browser's user agent or any analytics identifier with the report. The record is written to a file on our own server, not to a third-party form service.

The purpose is to reproduce and fix problems and to decide what to build next. Feedback is not published, not shown to advertisers and not shared with third parties. If you leave an email, it is used only to reply to that report; it is not added to a mailing list. Records are kept for up to twelve months and then deleted, and you can ask us to delete a specific report by writing to the contact address with the page and approximate time. Do not send passwords, keys, tokens or personal data through the form; it is a normal web form, not a secure channel.

Third-party links

Tool pages link to specifications and standards — RFCs, the Unicode Standard, ISO documents — and those links leave this site. Once you follow one, the destination's own privacy policy applies. We do not include third-party tracking pixels or embedded content from social networks.

Data sources

The converters are implemented from published standards — the RFCs for encoding and timestamps, the Unicode Character Database for scripts and normalisation, ISO 9 and other transliteration standards for the script tools — and run entirely in your browser. We do not redistribute third-party datasets; where a source is cited for reference, it is linked on the relevant page. Your input is never used to train anything, because we never receive it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because tool input never leaves the browser, a child using a tool does not send us anything; the third-party advertising described above is the only external element on the page.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we hold no account data and receive no tool input, the practical scope is limited to server logs (retained only briefly for security) and whatever the advertising network holds, which you control through its own settings linked above.

To make a request, write to the address below. We will respond within the period required by the applicable law, and will tell you plainly if we hold nothing that matches.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because there is no server-side storage of user data, there is no stored user data to breach. The design is deliberate: the strongest protection for a value you paste into a tool is that it never leaves your device.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the site changes — for example if a new third-party service is added. The date at the top of the page changes when it does. Continued use after a change means you accept the current version.
