DMCA / Copyright

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices of claimed infringement. Last updated: 21 October 2026.
What this site contains
yizhiweb.top publishes original explanations and client-side utilities for working with text: converting digits between numeral systems, normalising and inspecting Unicode text, and removing or adding diacritics. We do not host third-party audio or video, we do not index or mirror other sites' content, and we do not provide tools for downloading media or circumventing copy protection.
The small reference tables on the site — for example the digit sets used by the numeral converter — are derived from the Unicode Standard, and the source is named on the page that uses them. If you believe any material on this site reproduces your work without permission, please tell us.
Filing a notice
Email henrivnts@gmail.com with “DMCA” in the subject line and include:
- identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
- the exact URL on this site where the material appears;
- your name, email address and a statement of your relationship to the rights holder;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature.
A notice missing any of these elements may need clarification, which slows the process. We will review and, where appropriate, remove or modify the material promptly, and we will keep you informed of the outcome.
Counter-notice
If material of yours was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake — for example because you hold the rights, or because the use is permitted — write to the same address with your details, the URL concerned and your reasons. We will review the matter and, where the counter-notice is well founded, restore the material.
Repeat infringement
We do not knowingly publish infringing material. If a pattern of infringement were ever established, we would remove the material and decline further submissions from the source concerned.
Reporting a wrong result instead
If your issue is that a tool produced an incorrect conversion rather than a copyright matter, the contact page explains exactly what to send so we can reproduce and fix it.
What this policy does not cover
Copyright is about who owns a creative work. It is not the right mechanism for every complaint, and using it for the wrong one usually delays a resolution:
| If your concern is… | The right route |
|---|---|
| A tool returns the wrong answer | Contact page — a bug report, not a legal notice |
| A page describes your product inaccurately | Email with the URL and the correction; the editorial policy covers how corrections are handled |
| Your personal information appears on the site | Email the address below; personal-data removal is handled separately and usually faster |
| An advertisement is infringing or misleading | The advertising network, since the site does not control which creative is served |
| You want a tool removed from the catalogue | Not a copyright matter — explain the concern and it will be considered |
What we do not host
It is worth being specific, because a large share of removal notices are aimed at content this site has never had:
- No media files. There is no audio, video or streaming content, and no upload that persists on a server — a file you drop into a tool is read by your browser and discarded.
- No mirrored or scraped pages. Every tool page is written for this site; none reproduces another site's article.
- No download or stream-ripping tools. The site converts and reformats data you already have; it does not fetch media from a third-party service.
- No user-generated content. There is no comment system, forum, upload gallery or account area, so there is nothing posted by a third party to remove.
The materials that do exist are the site's own prose and code, and reference tables derived from published standards such as the Unicode Character Database, which is attributed on the pages that use it.
How a notice is handled
- Acknowledgement. A notice with “DMCA” in the subject is read first and acknowledged.
- Assessment. The URL is checked against the claim: what the page actually contains, and whether the quoted material is present.
- Action. If the claim is well founded, the material is removed or rewritten promptly. If it is not, the reason is explained.
- Record. The outcome is recorded so a repeat claim about the same material can be handled consistently.
A good-faith notice is never penalised, even if the assessment concludes there was no infringement. A notice sent in bad faith — for example to suppress a description of a product, rather than to protect a work — is answered with an explanation rather than an automatic removal.
Licensing and attribution
If you would like to quote a passage from this site, you may do so with attribution and a link to the page. Republishing the catalogue or its explanatory text wholesale is not permitted, and the terms of use state the boundary. Standards and specifications referenced on the site remain under their own licences.
